From Scooby to LA: Rafia and Caroline Come Home : Gayle returns from a six-day trip volunteering at the Scooby animal shelter in Medina del Campo, Spain. She brought Rafia (a podengo living at Scooby) and Caroline (a Spanish galga from another animal rescue group) to their adopters.

Guam Greyhounds : I was invited by Homestretch Greyhound Rescue and Adoption to take a few pictures of a shipment of four racing greyhounds arriving at Los Angeles International Airport from Guam. This was Group 21 -- the 21st shipment of greyhounds from the shutdown Guam racetrack to Homestretch Greyhound. The hounds are sent to other greyhound adoption groups that adopt them to their forever homes.

Katie's Gotcha Day : Gayle went to the Caliente racetrack to help haul newly-retired racing greyhounds to southern California for GPA to make available for adoption.
